BEHIND THE LENS

My story begins in the wonderful and historic city of Mobile, AL in 2000. I was raised in a family of athletes. Having said that, I lived and breathed sports. Whether that was watching football, basketball, softball, golf, or going outside to play them. At the age of 7, I began taking notes at my brother's high school football games. With those notes in hand, I would call into a local station, WNSP, and report the stats and scores from the game. 

Fast forward, I am a multimedia journalist at Gulf Coast Media, where I cover local news in Baldwin County, which is the largest county in Alabama. Here, I report topics such as sports, profiles, investigative stories and government. 

I graduated from Spring Hill College in 2023 with my degree in communication arts with a focus in broadcast journalism. I have experience in videography, photography and social media management. I am thankful to work within the communication industry where I can share my passion and strive for excellence.
